Is there a minimum number of hours for renting The Social Shuttle?

Yes, a minimum of 3 hours for all rentals.

Does The Social Shuttle have AC?

Due to the extreme conditions of the area and the limited availability of parts, we do not guarantee Air Conditioning on The Social Shuttle. We do regular maintenance on the shuttle, but there is always a possibility of it breaking down. ***No discounts or refunds will be issued if AC is not working.

Is there a travel fee?

We are a time-based rental company. Our rates are factored from the time we leave Sioux Falls until the Driver returns.

Is the deposit refundable?

The moment you pay your deposit, that bus is marked as unavailable in our system, preventing us from advertising it for use by other parties. Therefore, in the event of cancellation, there will be NO REFUNDS on the deposit.

Can we bring our own food and drink?

Yes, we encourage it! We do not provide any food, beverages, ice, or coolers. Please note that some food can be messy, and guests who create too big a mess without cleaning it up will result in a cleaning fee.

Do you accept checks or cash?

We only accept credit cards for bookings online. If additional hours are requested during your ride, your shuttle driver can accept cash or Venmo.

Can we go over prepaid time?

Yes, we do allow overtime. However, this is limited to the availability of the bus and the driver’s schedule. All overtime rates are billed at a rate of $150 per hour plus tax and tip.

Is there any other fees with rentals?

All rentals are subject to 15% gratuity and 6.2% sales tax.

Cleaning Fees – When party bus arrives for your pickup it will be clean and trash free. We provide large trash can and will take all the trash at the end of the rental. It is the clients responsibility to make sure all trash is in the trash can.

Our driver will help with any spills. In the event of excessive cleaning is required the client could be responsible for a cleaning fee of $250 per hour.

Bodily Fluids – In the event that bodily fluids are spilled on the shuttle, our drivers must use special cleaning kits to protect them as well as the guests. A cleaning fee of $250 per occurrence will be charged to the client in charge of the rental.
 
Broken windows / Damage - In the event that damage happens to the party bus during a rental the client will be responsible for all repair costs. This can include any lost rentals due to the party bus not being available due to need of repairs.
 
Damage Examples:
Windows - $550-$1,200
Blown Speakers - $150-$400
Tears, Rips, burns or damage to the seats - $750 - $1,800

What is the max capacity of each bus?

The Social Shuttle is able to hold 20 – 25 people.

What if our ride ends early? Do we get a refund?

Rentals are blocked off at the time contracted for. We do not allow any refunds if you choose to end your rental early.

Are rentals cancelled due to weather at any time?

We have the right to cancel a rental if the heat index temperature reaches over 100 degrees or windchill below 0 degrees, or if there are any
advisories or warnings that prevent safe travel. These are not safe conditions for our drivers to operate. In the event of a cancellation due to
weather, the client is issued a voucher for the amount paid to be used on another rental, good for 1 calendar year from the date of rental, no exceptions.

Is smoking or vaping allowed?

No Smoking or Vaping on the bus. If you are caught Smoking or Vaping on the bus you
will be subject to a $250 fee per occurrence.
