Is there a minimum number of hours for renting The Social Shuttle?

We have a 3-hour minimum for most occasions, but we recognize that weddings are special. That's why we offer a 2-hour service specifically for your celebration. Let us help make your day memorable! Call or email us, and let us help make your day memorable!

What areas do you serve?

Looking to book the Social Shuttle? Great news! We don't charge any travel fees within a half-hour radius of Sioux Falls, which includes nearby like Brandon, Valley Springs, Harrisburg, Tea, and Canton. If you're located outside this area, we can still accommodate you by discussing a small travel fee to cover expenses. 

Are  you handicap accessible?

Our party bus is fully handicap accessible, ensuring a comfortable ride for all our passengers. We prioritize making your transportation experience as smooth as possible. If you have any specific needs or questions, feel free to reach out!

Is the deposit refundable?

Once your deposit is paid, the bus will be marked as unavailable in our system. Therefore, if you decide to cancel, the deposit is non-refundable. Thank you for your understanding.

Do you accept checks or cash?

For online bookings, we only accept credit cards. If you'd like to extend your experience or show appreciation to your driver, additional hours can be added at a rate of $150 and paid in cash or via Venmo. Please note that for extra hours may be limited due to other bookings, so feel free to ask!

What if our ride starts late or ends early?

We strive to uphold the contracted rental time to the best of our ability. However, please understand that there may be instances when a bus is a few minutes late or a ride concludes early upon reaching the final destination. In such cases, we do not offer refunds or discounts. Thank you for your understanding.

Can we bring our own refreshments?

The Social Shuttle stands out from other party buses by holding a Liquor License, allowing us to offer services upon request. While we do not provide meals, snacks, or water unless specifically requested, we're happy to create a tailored experience for you. Please share your ideas when booking. Just a friendly reminder that some refreshments can be messier than others. If excessive, it is up to our digression to charge a cleaning fee of $200.

Does The Social Shuttle have heat or AC?

Stay warm in winter and cool in summer on the party bus! While we can’t guarantee no breakdowns, we’re committed to making your ride as comfortable as possible. Sorry, but won't be able to offer discounts or refunds if the heat or AC isn't working. Thanks for understanding!

Are there any damage fees?

If any damage occurs to the party bus during your rental, a fee of $500 will be charged immediately, and you will be responsible for any additional repair costs. Since we operate only one bus, any loss of business resulting from damage may also be charged after notifying you.

What happens if bodily fluids are spilt on the bus?

If any bodily fluids are spilled on the bus, a cleaning fee of $300 will be charged to our clients. We encourage all guests to manage themselves responsibly; failure to do so may result in a cleaning fee and removal from the bus.

What is your cleaning policy?

At The Social Shuttle, we prioritize your safety and comfort by giving our a deep clean between rides, ensuring a sanitary environment for guests of all ages. We provide trash and other cleaning supplies if needed. We kindly ask for your cooperation in maintaining a clean and clutter-free bus, as this helps ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone on board.

Can the weather affect my trip?

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a trip for the safety of our guests due to severe weather conditions. Clients can request a rescheduled time at the same rate and hourly rental. If we are unable to accommodate a reschedule, a full refund can be issued due to unpredictable weather conditions. Your safety and satisfaction are our priorities.

Is smoking or vaping allowed?

Do not smoke or vape on the bus. If you are caught, a $200 fee will be imposed, and repeated offenses will result in removal from the bus. We appreciate your assistance in maintaining a safe and comfortable atmosphere for all passengers.
